Site-level sampling
Use the Website Index Checker to sample important pages before crawling everything
A full site crawl is useful, but many indexing problems show up quickly when you sample the right pages. This page is for checking your homepage, category pages, money pages, fresh articles, and recently changed URLs in one small batch.
The goal is to find patterns. If all blog URLs pass but product pages fail canonical checks, you know where to focus. If only newly published pages show no public signal, the issue may be discovery timing rather than a technical block.
Recommended workflow
Check a small representative set first. If one template type fails, fix that template before running a larger audit. Use the result to decide whether the next step is content improvement, internal linking, sitemap cleanup, or technical repair.
What this check reviews
- Multiple representative URLs from the same website.
- HTTP and redirect consistency across sections.
- robots.txt and noindex rules that affect directories.
- Canonical patterns that differ by template type.
Good pages to include
- Homepage and one top-level category page.
- One recently published article or landing page.
- One product, service, or commercial page.
- One URL that Bing or Google already reported as not indexed.
